It has been a while...

Happy Birthday Mr. Kilbourn!

Well, it has been a long time since I posted and I thought I would begin to log some of my new adventures, thrifty finds, and home projects I have been really excited about! Adam, my amazing husband just celebrated his 32nd birthday and we had such a great time with family and friends at this new bar in town, Petes Dueling Piano Bar at Town Square Pictures will be posted soon as my camera was full after filming Adam and his best friend Will dancing on stage, it was an amazing sight and I will also post the video soon!

Ok on to my new projects! I have always loved old things, whether it is clothes, furniture or jewelry. My husband gets so annoyed when I over use the word "vintage" but I can't help it. I also love a deal and there is nothing more exciting then finding a "vintage deal" haha.

I have purchased the fabric for the chairs and the paint. I am looking to do a distressed look with black underneath white. This will be my first distressed paint job with white so I will take any pointers anyone has on this. There are so many techniques so we shall see! I am looking at these colors for the table let me know your thoughts, I will also post the material for the chairs . In the meantime take a look at the colors at the end of this document and let me know what you think!
