The Thrifters Anonymous member of the week goes to
There were some great Thrifters Anonymous members this past week, but I chose Dawnya because I am so excited for her and her discovery and experimentation with her fashion. As college friends we often wore similar outfits always thinking we were sooo cool, yet never really finding our style. We also spent waaay to much money on clothes we could have done without. She went on one of her first real thrifting trips with me and also brought over some clothes she had never really worn and asked for me to "Take a Second Look" at. I am so proud of her for starting a blog so that she can enjoy the amazing adventure that we are all on.
So, back to her Link Up. While most of this outfit was thrifted, and totally adorable, the scarf was my favorite part! This Oscar De La Renta scarf was given to her by her grandmother mind you it came from the 50's and her grandmother had never worn it! Dawnya found a way to incorporate it into her own style!
Love the Scarf as a necklace!Can't wait to see what else she will do. Discovering your style can be so much fun so go show Dawnya some love as she takes this adventure and dives into the blogging world!
