This past year has literally flown by and I just wanted to take a moment and thank all of you for your continued love and support of this little blog and more importantly Thrifters Anonymous! I have some amazing things planned this year and I can't wait to share them with all of you! For now let's take a look back at the past years Thrifters Anonymous Members of the week! Love you all!!!! Happy New Year and Happy Thrifting! If you missed last weeks Thrifters Anonymous you cancheck it our HERE! Don't forget to subscribe to my Youtube channel where you can go thrifting withe me...I will be updating videos soon!Don't forget to follow me on INSTAGRAM!!! I always try to post some finds out and about when I can...@colorblindblog
So I thought I would try something a little different this time on my youtube channel! I took some of my new thredUP finds, old finds, and random pieces to style three outfits I wore for the holidays! and possibly New Years! Don't forget to subscribe for more of my videos and let me know if you like it!
So here is what the box looked like when I got it! I had so much fun scrolling through the website! I even curated my own favorites if you want to check them out HERE.
When I opened the box I found a few coupons, a notice, and a bag with an envelope if I want to send any of my clothes to resale! Will work on a haul video for you guys to talk more about it!
I loved this vintage Marc Jacobs scarf...I thought it would be a perfect gift wrap for a bottle wine...you can see how easy I did it in my video below..I guess there was a stain on this scarf that they never identified on the site...so they gave it to me at no cost....I was gifted the items but for future reference anytime there is a flaw and they don't mention they will gift it to you...great customer service on that part...
First up was my Elizabeth and James dress...I was so excited about this dress..Retailing at $300 yes $300 I was over the moon when I saw it was only $30..I know... it was 2 day shipping so I was hoping I could wear this for new years...we shall see I love how it looks...it's a little big but so comfy and I was happy with that...
Then the REISS sweater..I have never owned anything from REISS I loved the white version of this but when I saw there was a version at all for literally 90% off I was excited...do you see the original tags from Nordstrom???? 290 then 105...huh?? It was $20 on thredUP
and my favorite find...this Nanette Lepore skirt..I admire her store here in Vegas....but honestly I can't or won't afford anything in the store...over $400 ratail at $30 it was a yes....tartan...and oh so unique...love
So that was my thredUP haul...if you haven't perused the site you really should...I will say that it is a little more expensive than your average thrift store...but it is more of a resale shop than a thrift shop....new items with tags and designer pieces most of us will never buy...2 day shipping and no secret lurkers...I can hunt save and buy all while watching Real Housewives..I couldn't not share this with my Thrifters Anonymous family. Happy New Year loves and see you in 2014!!!!
Thanks for Linking Up!
