30 Day Challenge: How To Get Started | Make a Change | #TeamLetEmHaveIt




Hi friends!!! 

I can not believe it is almost November!!! I am not really sure how this year has gone by so fast, but I do know that I have had some of the busiest months in years! I can say that one thing I have struggled with is making time to get in all of my workouts, my meals, and sleep!

Staying consistent is something that I truly believe is the key to anyone's fitness goals...I don't care who you are...it is staying consistent and making sure that you are making healthy choices. I mean don't get me wrong I am still getting in a few workouts, taking my vitamins, and eating clean...but I know that with this busy season and holidays coming up it is only going to get worse! 

SOOO I have decided that I am going  to do a 30 day challenge! I have never done this before...I mean I have personally set goals whether it be competing or photoshoots but i have never held a challenge before so it will be a learning process for me and who knows maybe we will extend it ( I need to feel good and look good by New Years and my birthday) 



SO WHO IS WITH ME? 

Right now we have over 250 members in my Private Facebook group and I can't believe it! So many women & men have made changes to not only their bodies but their mind! I featured them on my blog you can read their stories HERE! I want to have some fun surprise challenges for the week and give out fun prizes to all of you! From Supplements, to spices, to cash prizes to get you closer to your goals!!
 There will also a be a grand prize at the end of this that I will announce soon!! So stay tuned!

SO How do we get started? Here is what I would like you to do! 


HOW TO GET STARTED

STEP 1:

STEP 2: 
Email me at colorblindblog@gmail.com Subject line 30 Day Challenge and send me your stats!
Current Weight, Measurements: (Waist, Hips), Height, and a before picture! (You can wear whatever is comfortable as long as we can see your shape! It is all about change, and as you can see there will be different variables that will factor into the winning of this challenge!

STEP 3: 
Email me your Goal for the 30 day Challenge! Do you want to drop a dress size, inch off your waist, lose 5lbs, run an 8 minute mile Anything! I want to see what your goal is and how you do at the end! 

STEP 4: 
Begin prepping for the week! GO grocery shopping and set yourself up for success! Get those foods you have problems with out of your house! IT IS ONLY 30 days...Make a commitment that by ThanksGiving you are going to be ready to treat yourself! and at that holiday party you are going to wear THAT dress! YOU are going to feel good and know you gave it 100%!

STEP 5:
SHARE SHARE SHARE! In order for me to choose a winner I need to see you! If you are a part of our group you know we love to share! Our meal preps food choices, recipes, workouts! I share all of this on my personal vlog channel and I will vlogging this challenge in addition to my other vlogs so you can follow me along! you can start your own channel on youtube or just share your videos privately in our group!

 EXAMPLE OF Weekly Challenges we have held!

I am going to try to set up new challenges for the day and for the week like I did before and I will be looking to you guys to give me feedback on things you want to learn! 

Whether it is the best cardio or how to do a bicep curl anything! I want to help as much as I can!!!  At the end of this I want you to have learned how to make better choices and how to manage your busy schedules like mine!!! I hope to explain a little more about nutrition and supplements and what I do and take to stay fit! 4 weeks is all you need to start to change imagine what we can do by the end of the year!!! 


THE 30 DAY #TEAMLETEMHAVEIT CHALLENGE INCLUDES:

  • Workouts for the gym and at home  Showcasing different exercises for at home or at the gym to get maximized results! I will share all of my workouts!
  • CARDIO. For beginners & Advanced I will share the multiple forms of cardio you can do and what I have found to be the best for me! Before liting after lifting and more!
  • Recipes & #MealPrepSunday I will share more recipes with you all, spices I love, & how to change things up to get results and balance!
  • What Supplements I take & love I will share my daily supplement routine with you all in my vlogs and on the blog! what you need to get started and what you can do without as a beginner!
  • Weekly check ins & postings to the private group I will ask you to email me weekly so that we can talk about your weeks and share any questions you may have! I will continue to share all of the info in the group!
  • Weekly Challenges with prizes I will send the winners including a Grand Prize at the end of the challenge! 
  • The private Facebook Group This is a great forum for questions, motivation and great way to be a part of team!!

LAZY QUICK #MealPrepSunday & Trader Joes Grocery Haul | 1stPhorm #Transphormation



Hi friends! NEW vlog is up and I thought I would come on here to share! Let's face it, we all get lazy and we are all looking for short cuts every once in a while. If there is anything Ihave learned in the past 3 years of this EAT CLEAN journey it is that no matter how hard you workout or how long you workout...if you don't nourish your body with the proper nutrients...you will START over EVERY SINGLE TIME. A balanced diet consisting of protein, veggies, and those GOOD carbs are well a necessity. 

NOT to mention the supplements like a multi-vitimin & Omega Fatty Acid. Mine are from 1stphorm You can find them HERE!
EVERY single meal should be providing you with a basic foundation and give you the energy and strength you need. 

Sadly, we don't all have time to MEAL PREP steam veggies, grill your chicken or prepare ANYTHING. SOMETIMES we have 5 minutes to get all those necessities in our body if that. SO Today I share my secret LAZY pickings at Trader Joes when you are in a pinch but still want to eat clean and well enjoy your food! You can find some of these items at other grocery stores too but hopefully this will help you and give you as you continue your EAT CLEAN journey!

Eat Clean:My Dad's Moroccan Kefta Kabobs #MealPrepSunday


So excited to be sharing one of the hundreds of amazing recipes from my dad! If you didn't know my father is an amazing chef...I have been working so hard to learn from him and my goal this year is to share with you many of his signature dishes. 

One of my favorites is his Kefta Recipe! Now I made some modifications as I am still "prepping" and want to see if I can incorporate his flavors with my clean eating habits. SO....join me as I prepare my dad's Kefta Recipe!

I take you to Sprouts where I bought a few items in the video here is what you will need!

CORIANDER
1 tsp

CUMIN
1 tsp to 1 1/2 tsp
Fresh Garlic or Granulated Garlic
I like to add 1 tbsp to 1 1/2 tbsp I love garlic!

Harissa or your favorite spicy sauce
To your liking I like things spicy!
Black Pepper
To taste
Olive Oil
1 tbsp to 2 tbsp I used Extra Lean Ground Turkey so it needed some more!
Paprika or Smoked Paprika
1tsp to 1 1/2 tsp

Cilantro
1/3 Cup Chopped
MACE
1tsp (Be careful this is very rich you don't need a lot!)

Take all of the ingredients and mix them with 2 packages of Ground beef which is what my father uses or Extra Lean Ground Turkey which is what I use! Remember the turkey will be a little dry as it has less fat!

Watch the video for how I mixed it. Don't mix too much but simply fold the ingredients in and begin making your Kefta's. My dad makes them into small hamburgers and broils them on Low for 10 to 15 minutes but since I love grilling I decided to make Kabobs! Here is what they looked like. 


I grilled them for about 4 minutes on each side with the grill at 475 degrees! Make sure to soak the skewers so they don't burn! I whipped up some Couscous and hummus and also grilled some veggie skewers to complete the meal! More in the video! and Voila! 

For Dessert I just took strawberries and blueberries and put them on a skewer!


In the video I added salt. DO NOT ADD SALT It didn't need it..and if you need it add it after! Enjoy and remember my dad has always taught me that recipes are just ingredients...You turn it into your own RECIPE...So play around with the spice and learn what you like...he always just give me ingredients and leaves it up to me to decide I used to get mad until I realized....YOU must make it to your liking and then guess what....it becomes YOUR RECIPE...ENJOY!! and please share this if you like it!
